No, wait, listen! Karnilla gets all the gossip, okay? And one day she hears about this new kid who keeps waxing poetic about death and stuff. Who is this newbie, she asks, and her minions are all, DUDE, that’s not a new kid, it’s Balder. BALDER, she says, that’s totally bogus (as this AU takes place in the 80s). This can’t be the same Booboo that almost died trying not to step on a caterpillar. He’s so, so… dangerous.

And then they start dating or something, idk.
